Brian Fossett and James Orpin met in 2003 whilst studying Holistic Therapies at Peterborough Regional College , they instantly formed a strong friendship due to having shared interests and their immense passion for the industry. In 2004 after qualifying with nearly all distinctions the pair decided to form their own business and Garden of Eden Holistic therapies was born, initially the guys offered treatments on a mobile basis which they both found to be tiring and long-winded in getting their treatments out to a large number of clients.

In July 2005 Garden of Eden was given an opportunity to base their business from an established premises in the City Centre, namely Westgate Department store, this proved to be increasingly popular and they found themselves building a strong client base and helping a whole host of people with their ailments. Although Westgate proved a resounding success the room they operated from did not give much scope for expansion and so again the guys went out looking.

In August 2006 Brian and James found the perfect property, 62 Park Road had been newly developed into 24 luxury apartments and had a perfect space on the ground floor in which to base their business, it took the developers approximately 3 months to complete the renovation as per the pairs requests and was finally opened late October 2006. Hosting a large reception area and three fully fitted luxury treatment rooms along with a small retail area the space has an air of quality and style with a very relaxed homely feel to it. The holistic centre now boasts a total of 9 therapists offering 17 different alternative treatments from Massage to Hypnotherapy.

Not ones to stand still they now wish to take the therapies out on the road again by offering corporate clients an opportunity to hire therapists, motivational speakers and instructors all together in one holistic wellbeing package which can be tailored for each individual business from the small trader to multi national organisations. As Garden of Eden goes from strength to strength the guys are getting ever closer to realising their dreams of owning a luxury health spa. They also wish to extend a big thanks to all their existing clients for their continued support and encouragement.
