Reflexology

Facial Reflexology


Deficiencies in the body are reflected in the face, stimulation of these points has been found to have therapeutic effects when massaged using unique face maps. The face is richly supplied with nerve and blood vessels, due to the close proximity to the brain, the results can be quick and effective. This therapy encourages healing by working on the meridians promoting deep relaxation through specialised massage. The rejuvenating massage aids in stimulating blood circulation and lymphatic drainage resulting in a glowing complexion.

Chair Massage


This fully clothed massage has been designed for today’s hectic lifestyles, taking just twenty minutes out of your day will leave you feeling physically relaxed and mentally alert. A combination of muscle shaking, rhythmical stretches, body rocking and pressure techniques are used to simultaneously energise and encourage the release of deep tension.

Low Force Chiropractic


Chiropractic is a straight forward method of adjusting the bones of your body to maintain the correct alignment of your spine and to ensure that your body’s nerve supply works efficiently. Bowen Technique


The Bowen Technique is a gentle remedial therapy which stimulates the body to re-balance itself and promote healing, pain relief and recovery of energy. Treatments using the Bowen Technique aims to support and boost the natural capabilities of the body. Bowen therapists believe that the body has the ability to adjust, adapt and heal itself but needs assistance in order for this to occur.

Remedial Massage

A form of massage which focuses on muscle systems used in an office environment. It is designed to help muscle injuries and disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome and RSI. Remedial massage combines Swedish style massage moves with trigger point compressions to help aid recovery from injuries, enhancing flexibility/mobility. Weak muscle indicates a blockage or constriction in energy flow, massage stimulates the energy and produces a greater sense of health and wellbeing.

Reiki


Reiki is said to accelerate the body's own natural ability to heal itself, on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. It involves the Reiki practitioner placing both hands on or above the client in specific positions, this 'opens' up the body's energy channels and helps to clear any blockages that may be affecting the flow of Ki (or Qi/energy)

Shiatsu (chair)


Shiatsu is a Japanese form of healing body work. It involves gentle stretching and pressure point work to help the body work more efficiently. Using the same principles as acupuncture each session starts with a diagnosis. Shiatsu is excellent for stress, headaches, back pain, fatigue and much more. Shiatsu can work on many levels and is very successfully used as preventative medicine.

Biodynamic Massage


Biodynamic massage uses a range of gentle touch techniques to promote relaxation and healing and to reach forgotten and neglected parts of ourselves. Sometimes we get stuck in patterns of working, interaction and communication which are unhealthy or unhelpful. Biodynamic massage will help to promote relaxation, dissolve and release stress and tension, encourage awareness and release of unhelpful patterns, restore connection with yourself and the flow of life and rediscover a sense of joy and ease

Hot Stone Massage


Hot stone massage uses stones which are bathed in warm water and then anointed with spicy, sensual aromas before being placed on key energy points on the body ,this is then followed by a luxurious, rhythmical massage. This massage is perfect for softening tired and tight muscles and inducing a deep state of relaxation
Treatment area: Back, Shoulders, Neck

Clients are advised to increase water consumption after therapy and limit their intake of known toxins such as caffeine, alcohol and nicotine in order to aid detoxification of the body and receive optimum results from the treatments.
