Motivational Workshops
“Stress in the workplace”
by Mary Stapleton CHyp

(Maximum 10 people)

A two hour workshop designed to help employers and employees learn to cope with stress and tension
Stress affects people from all walks of life and at a basic level impairs one’s capacity to live life fully. Stress related illnesses account for approximately 48% of deaths in Britain, so it is important for employers to do everything they can to help.

This two hour workshop gives the participants the tools to relax both mentally and physically, and change negative thought patterns. There is a very fine line between getting the adrenaline flowing and turning people into nervous wrecks.
The two hour workshop involves:

• A Hypnotherapy session to enable participants to understand just how it feels to be able to mentally relax to a very deep level.
• Breathing techniques—quick, easy to learn techniques to help ‘slow things down’
• EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) quick anxiety reducing techniques
• A second Hypnotherapy session designed to teach people Self-Hypnoses
• A self help CD
• Hand-outs for all techniques plus some ‘extra’ information on stress beating

This workshop has been designed to encourage people to learn how to handle their own stress and tension. This is not only a necessity for a healthy happy workforce but is very beneficial to the company in the long term.

Can you afford to ignore it??

The Enneagram
Who do you think you are?
with Claire Ferrari

A three hour workshop designed to help employers & employees understand who they really are, what motivates them and the behaviour of those around them, perfect for team building & bonding
(Maximum 15 people)

Organizations around the world are demanding more accurate information about clients and employees. Many are also interested in developing a more humane and person-centred approach to the workplace so that they can attract and retain valuable employees and achieve peak productivity. The Enneagram is uniquely suited to meet all of these needs.

The key to success in any venture is the ability to communicate effectively with others, to inspire them to share your vision and goals, as well as to provide effective direction and to keep things on track. Yet communication is often difficult if personality type is not taken into consideration. This is because people tend to believe that others think the same way they do. They believe that others have the same motivations, values, and priorities—although this is usually not the case.

However, when personality type is understood, communication becomes exponentially more effective because people begin to recognize and make the most of human diversity.

The Enneagram is an extraordinary framework for understanding yourself, your associates and colleagues, and the "personality" of your team or organization as a whole. Each type has its own way of relating to others, its own set of perceptions and preoccupations, its own values and approaches to life.
Each relates to others in different but understandable ways.

By understanding personality types, we can "speak the language" of others who are not the same as we are. Real communication is then possible, and we are able to deal more effectively with conflicts, ineffective work habits,
office politics, and different management styles. If we want to maximize our effectiveness, we need to learn how to manage different types of people and how to relate to different types of clients.

Furthermore, the Enneagram helps us see our own personality dynamics more clearly. Once we are aware of different personality types, we see that our own style will not be equally effective with all types of people. Thus, one of the most profound lessons of the Enneagram is how to move from a management style in which others are expected to mould themselves to us, to a more flexible management style in which we act from an awareness of the viewpoints and needs of others. By doing so, we help others become more effective themselves and as a result, harmony, productivity, and satisfaction increase.
